Round Table Introduction
The teacher or learning facilitator' role is the new challenge for information professionals. To play an educational role, librarians should not only master the information sources but also be proficient in learning styles and pedagogy as well as course planning and design, in the evaluation of learning and in collaborating with all actors involved in teaching. The Round Table joins university teachers and professionals to discuss the following themes: Learning Objectives, Analysis of student Information Literacy Skills, Assessment and Rubrics, and How to teach research skills to students.
The Round Table is organized by the International Master in Information and Communication Studies. Chairs: Anna Maria Tammaro and Pat Dixon (University of Parma, IT)
