Curriculum

v     Andrea Sartori obtained his is Chemistry degree from the University of Parma in 1997 (110/110 cum laude)

v      In 1999 – 2000 he got a fellowship from Istituto Nazionale di Fisica della Materia (INFM) titled "Application properties of superconductor fullerides". Supervisor: Prof. M. Riccò (Physics Department of University of Parma).

v      In 2004 he obtained the PhD from the University of Twente (Enschede- NL) working under the supervision of Prof. D.N. Reinhoudt and Prof. Ungaro. PhD Thesis titled "Calix[4]arene metal complexes as nuclease and transacylase mimics".

v      In 2004 he got a grant from Consorzio Interuniversitario Nazionale per la Scienza e Tecnologia dei Materiali (INSTM) to work on the synthesis of functionalized calix[4]arenes for Dip-Pen Nanolitography in the group of Prof. Ungaro (University of Parma).

v      From 2004 to 2009 he had a research fellowship concerning “Synthetic methodologies for the preparation of compounds with potential biological activity”, performed under supervision of Prof. G. Casiraghi at the Pharmaceutical Department of University of Parma.

v      From 2009 to 2010 he collaborated with the group of Prof. Dalcanale on the synthesis of water soluble cavitands for the recognition of methylamphetamines.

v      Since November 2010 he is a Research Associate at the Pharmaceutical Department of University of Parma. He is co-author of 29 papers and 1 patent.
