The city of Parma

Parma, located in the North of Italy, is a city traditionally rated for its culture and art. The historic city centre has monuments like the Romanesque cathedral, frescoed by Correggio, and the octagonal baptistery sculpted by Benedetto Antelami. Parma is associated with important musicians such as Paganini, Verdi, Pizzetti and Toscanini.
Parma is the capital of the Italian food industry, world famous for its products and in particular for Prosciutto di Parma and Parmigiano Reggiano cheese.
