HENRY HART MILMAN

MILMAN, Henry Hart (1791–1868),

professor of poetry at Oxford (1821–31) and dean of St Paul's (1849). He wrote a number of verse dramas including Fazio (1815); a Miltonic epic, Samor (1818); and various historical works.
