DEADLINES:
The deadlines for filling in the Application form are as follows:

• from 10th April to 1st June 2012 for students attending the winter semester or the whole academic year;
• from 19th November 2012 to 7th January 2013 for students attending the spring semester only

All the required documents should be sent by ordinary mail by:

• 16th July 2012 for students attending the winter semester or the whole academic year;

• 21st January 2013 for students attending the spring semester only.

The University of Parma does not offer any accommodation in residences for Erasmus students. However, you can choose from a series of different possibilities:

• Private flats: one or two-room apartments you can share with other students. Every year, at the beginning of September and February, the Office can offer you a good range of available flats. In order to receive assistance with accommodation, students should get in touch with the Erasmus Office (Tel. +39 -0521-034632) as soon as possible.   
• Private dorms: the Residenza terzo millennio (www.residenzaterzomillennio.it), near the University Campus, has some one-room apartments reserved for Erasmus students; the price is 450€ per month, all expenses included.
• Search by yourself: Another useful website for accommodation in private flats is the Sportello Università Casa (http://www.unipr.it/node/292874).

We strongly advise students to look for accommodation well in advance since our University cannot guarantee accommodation for all students on their arrival yet. We also highly recommend you book a room for your first days here in Parma at the Ostello della Gioventù (http://www.ostelloparma.it/) or into other accommodation facilities (www.turismo.comune.parma.it). 
For temporary periods only you can get in touch with the Sportello Unico Casa (S.U.C.) a service offered by ER.GO. Rooms are assigned by contacting the following address: residenzepr@er-go.it (www.er-go.it). Another accommodation option for short periods is the Residenza Sant'Ilario (Borgo Bosazza 13 – Parma). For foreign students who would like to teach or for those who just want to have experience in the Italian school system, the TEACHING PLACEMENT Programme is THE chance to fully immerse yourselves in Italian life and culture!

• Il giorno 13 novembre (martedì) presso l'Ufficio Scolastico Regionale ( piano 0 - Sala Riunioni) Viale Vittoria 33, si terrà dalle ore 17.00 alle 18.00 la formazione con le Prof.sse Daniela Capelli e Nicoletta Forcieri, ed è OBBLIGATORIA per chiunque voglia partecipare al progetto e ottenere i crediti formativi.
   

The Foreign Students Information Desk (Sportello Informa Studenti Stranieri) aims at giving basic information and support to non-EU students who intend to enrol at this University. In particular, we can provide guidance with regards to the procedures for obtaining your Permit of Stay.
Moreover, the Information Desk can answer any specific requests forwarded by visiting Professors, research fellows or administrative Staff who want to spend a period at our University.
