Obiettivi formativi
The course was designed to provide information on architectural and industrial design, and to examine historiographic themes as related to 20th century architecture and design. The second part of the course will take a detailed look at a number of issues through the analysis of the selected case study: exhibitions and exhibition design.

Walter Benjamin: architecture, city, objects <br />
Beginning from an analysis of Passagen-Werk by Walter Benjamin, the “success” of this text will be reconstructed within the realm of design theory and architecture and design criticism from the 1950s up until today. <br />
The history of architecture and design course includes an instructional phase comprising classroom lectures, and a seminar phase in which the history of international exhibitions and the history of exhibition design and production is examined, including the study of methodological texts. <br />
