World Sustainable Transportation Day
World Sustainable Transportation Day is dedicated to promoting sustainable, safe, and efficient mobility systems. Its goal is to raise public awareness about the importance of reducing the environmental impact of transportation, encouraging solutions such as electric mobility, public transport, cycling, and vehicle sharing. This initiative invites governments, businesses, and citizens to work together to create more livable cities and a low-emission future.
Cycle to Campus. Be EU Green
On the occasion of World Sustainable Transportation Day, the University of Parma, partner of the EUGreen Alliance, joins the initiative proposed by the Atlantic Technological University (Ireland), entitled “Cycle to Campus. Be EU Green.”
The initiative promotes the use of bicycles to reach the university, encouraging the sharing of stories, impressions, photos, and videos that showcase the creativity and commitment of our academic communities.
My Cycling Story
Share your experience!
From December 1 to 5, we invite you to send in your Cycling Story: Why do you choose the bike? What benefits does it bring you? What motivates you to prefer sustainable mobility?
The My Cycling Story initiative highlights the personal side of sustainable mobility. Beyond statistics and policies, these authentic stories show how everyday choices contribute to the vision of greener, healthier, more livable, and inclusive universities.
How to participate: Share your story with photos, videos, or a short message by December 5, using this link: https://forms.office.com/e/zMaLNLJ5gb?origin=lprLink
