The University's Social media policy is a set of guidelines designed to indicate the behavior to be followed on social media by all stakeholders.
The social media policy regulate not only the use of institutional social profiles and how users interact on them, but also how employees use their private profiles.
Specifically, the University's Social media policy is divided into two sections:
● The Internal Social media policy section, directed to University of Parma employees, describes the two modes (central institutional profile and federated institutional profiles) by which the University of Parma is on social media and offers guidance regarding the procedure for creating these University profiles, and their proper use. The internal Social media policy must also be observed in the use of private personal profiles by University employees, as will be further described below. /p>
● The external Social media policy section, directed to all users of the University of Parma, is intended to regulate participation in the discussion and dialogue that take place via institutional profiles by students and any third party with respect to the University.
