After Climbing For Climate, thanks to the collaboration between the University of Parma and the Italian Alpine Club (CAI) – Parma Section, joined by the CAI Borgotaro sub-group, a series of three thematic excursions in the Parma Apennines is being organized again this year for University students, with a focus on the environment and sustainability.
During the excursions, University faculty members and local experts will offer in-depth insights, while CAI volunteers will provide information and interesting facts about “going to the mountains.”
As in the previous edition, to reach the starting point of the excursions and in order to minimize environmental impact, it has been decided to use the bus (Line 12).
Participants are required to have suitable mountain equipment (hiking boots with a Vibram-type sole or appropriate footwear; a windproof jacket; hiking poles recommended; a water bottle with at least 1 liter of water; sunglasses and sunscreen) and a packed lunch.
