What can you do with Uniplate?
Uniplate is an app developed by the Human Nutrition Unit and the Artificial Intelligence Laboratory of the University of Parma to promote healthy and sustainable eating habits within its community.
Available on the Android and Apple stores.
With Uniplate, you can plan balanced and sustainable daily meals, receive educational content, and reach your daily nutritional goals. Achieving these goals allows you to earn badges, increasing motivation and encouraging the adoption of new, healthy habits.
The app is divided into several sections, each with a specific function:
Home: Provides daily practical tips and facts about nutrition and sustainability. In this section, users can record their daily goals and track their progress over time.
Menu: Supports the planning of balanced meals by suggesting menus aligned with the consumption frequencies recommended by the Italian Guidelines for Healthy Eating.
Shopping List: Allows you to create and manage a digital shopping list.
Recipes: Features a wide collection of healthy and sustainable "one-dish" recipes, offering various search filters and a dynamic ingredient list that adjusts based on the number of people selected.
Learn: Offers in-depth educational content on nutrition and sustainability, along with "video pills" (short clips) containing useful tips on how to prepare and store healthy, tasty dishes.
Uniplate promotes health and environmental respect with a focus on the pleasure of good food, making it easier to make conscious dietary choices.
