Report and Strategic Documents

It is the document that highlights at the end of the year with reference to the previous year the organizational and individual results achieved with respect to the planned objectives, with detection of any deviations.

The document also presents the results achieved in the areas of transparency, integrity and anti-corruption, the activities carried out for equal opportunities and gender balance, the organization of agile work and, in conclusion, the steps taken by the University in the path of improvement of the performance management cycle of the reference year.

This is an important planning document that, within the framework of the general principles enshrined in the Statute and the University's institutional mission, outlines the University of Parma's strategic vision for each three-year period. Indeed, it identifies the main objectives and actions deemed to have the greatest impact on the University's ability to best achieve its functions.

Among the aspects of strategic relevance, in addition to the purely institutional ones - teaching, research, third mission and internationalization - the issues related to the development of “human capital,” sustainability, attention to equal opportunities and affirmative action, as well as the indispensable impulse to the digitalization of administrative processes are highlighted.

It is a single document of planning and governance, aimed at ensuring the quality and transparency of administrative activities, simplifying processes.

Starting from the year 2023, the University of Parma, publishes the “Relazione Unica di Ateneo (RUA)” as a single reporting document of the University's planning and programming.

In addition to deepening the public value created by the University, the RUA can be understood as a first approach toward comprehensive reporting of the various sections and subsections of the PIAO, taking the opportunity to increase the organic, shared and integrated vision of the University's processes.

Through the Single Report, the University also aims to develop and promote the quality of services offered to stakeholders to increase public value.

The Gender Balance Sheet is a document that aims, on the one hand, to describe in detail the gender distribution of the different components of the University, as well as the participation of women and men in the University's management bodies; on the other hand, it aims to monitor institutional actions and policies in favor of gender equality and to assess their impact.

It is the key tool for integrating gender equality into the broader university development strategy.

The University Energy Plan is an analysis and planning tool designed to contribute to the sustainable and efficient management and development of its energy resources and to promote the use of renewable sources and the reduction of the environmental footprint of its community.

In 2023, our organization monitored and reported the atmospheric emissions generated by its activities, promoting transparency and sustainability. This page presents the main data and the actions taken to reduce environmental impact, accompanied by the technical document detailing the calculations and methodologies used

The University of Parma’s plan for sustainable water management aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals of the 2030 Agenda. In response to increased water consumption between 2022 and 2024, the strategic plan for 2025–2030 includes targeted actions to reduce environmental impact, monitored through specific indicators. The plan promotes an integrated approach that combines efficient technologies, rainwater reuse, leak prevention, and awareness-raising within the university community. It also serves as a benchmark for evaluating the University’s performance in international sustainability rankings
