ERASMUS+ Mobility

The ERASMUS+ SMS (Students Mobility for Study) Program offers students regularly enrolled in a bachelor, master/master/master degree program or PhD program the opportunity to spend a variable period of study (from 2 to 12 months) at a university with which the University has entered into an inter-institutional agreement

The ERASMUS+ Program 2021-2027 provides for the possibility to carry out mobility not only at European institutions but also outside Europe and to include a virtual component in their mobility experience.

The student in mobility receives an economic contribution and has the opportunity to use the facilities and services available at the host institute, to attend courses, take the relevant exams agreed in advance with the referring teachers, obtaining recognition upon return. It is, in addition, possible to conduct thesis research

It is possible to carry out multiple ERASMUS+ stays abroad, up to a maximum of 12 months per study cycle.

Erasmus+ SMS - Mobility for the Purpose of Study

The Erasmus SMS (Student Mobility for Study) program offers the opportunity to spend a period of study, varying from 3 (2 starting from'a.y. 2021/2022) to 12 months, at one of the University of Parma's European partner universities. Selected students have the opportunity to attend lectures, take exams agreed upon with faculty, obtaining recognition upon return, and conduct on-site research for their dissertation. They can also use the facilities and services of the host university

The Erasmus+ SMS call for applications allows students to access funding to spend a period of study ranging from three to twelve months at a European university partnered with the University of Parma and participating in the Program

The ERASMUS+ Blended Intensive Programmes (BIP)

ERASMUS+ Key Action 1 is renewed in the Erasmus 2021-2027 program thanks to the introduction of mixed intensive programs - blended intensive programmes, BIP. Developed by groups of higher education institutions with an innovative pedagogical approach, the BIPs provide for short periods of face-to-face activity combined with online learning and cooperation activities, in which joint groups of students, teaching staff and administrative staff from different countries can participate to collaborate on specific tasks collectively and simultaneously. In a mixed intensive program (BIP), the virtual component is mandatory and the use of digital technologies allows the institutions involved both to improve their ability to implement innovative teaching and learning methods, and to reach a larger number of learners, also involving students from subject areas with limited mobility opportunities.
