Alma universitas studiorum parmensis A.D. 962 - Università di Parma

The University of Parma supports its researchers in patent filing and in managing relationships with institutions and companies by providing them with advice and training on industrial property management.

The first step in the technology valorisation process is the identification of inventions and the subsequent decision to protect a specific research result by filing a patent application. The patent is the first step in implementing the technology transfer process defined in the Third Mission principles.

Over the years, numerous patent applications have been filed in various technical and scientific fields, derived from the expertise of the University's professors and researchers as results of their own research projects or collaborations with other universities, organisations and companies.

Knowledgeshare

Knowledge Share is a joint project involving Politecnico di Torino, Italian Patent and Trademark Office (UIBM) at MISE (Ministry for Economic Development) and Netval. It aims to be the meeting point for Italian companies with the expertise developed by the italian universities and Research Centers, which can become practical applications.

It is a portal open to Italian and foreign SMEs created to make available, in a clear and understandable way, information related to patents and technologies, in order to share the news and information about the Universities’ third mission, the technology transfer, and to bring together research groups and companies to enhance the results.
