The Italian Ministry for University and Research, through the FARE project, intends to fund interventions aimed at attracting ERC winners. In particular, universities and public research institutions shall guarantee additional funding to researchers who won ERC Starting grant, Consolidator grant or Advanced grant and who chose the beneficiary Italian institution as their main site for carrying out research or who opted for an Italian institution by taking advantage of portability.
