You are considered an EU student if you are resident in a European Union country or if you completed your studies in an EU country.

They are equivalent to citizens of the European Union:

  • citizens of Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein (EEC Regulations no. 1408/71, 1612/68 and 574/72, as well as Regulation no. 307/1999 which provides for the extension to students of the rules contained in the same Regulations 1408/ 71 and 574/72);
  • the citizens of Switzerland (Bilateral Agreement signed on 21.6.1999 and ratified on 17.04.2002, which implements the Regulations 1408/71 and 307/99 mentioned above);
  • the citizens of the Republic of San Marino (Treaty of Friendship and Good Neighborhood of 31 March 1939, ratified with law 6 June 1939, n.132);
  • refugees and beneficiaries of subsidiary protection;
  • personnel serving in foreign diplomatic missions and international organizations based in Italy - accredited by the Italian State or the Holy See - and their dependent family members, limited to spouses and children.

Documents needed

To proceed with enrolment in our University you must:

  • have your qualification translated and request certification of its conformity from the Italian Representation responsible for the territory. The same Representation will have to issue you the "Declaration of Value";
  • proceed with online registration, print the completed forms and sign them;
  • make the payment of the first instalment of tuition fees;
  • personally deliver all the documentation to your student registry office:

- original qualification with relative translation;
- declaration of value;
- printed and signed online enrolment application;
- photocopy of identity document or passport;
- photocopy of the tax code card

How to enrol

Once you have obtained the documents you need, you can proceed with online enrolment by following the instructions on the access method required for your course, remembering, once payment has been made, to personally deliver to your student registry office:

- original qualification with relative translation;
- declaration of value;
- printed and signed online enrolment application;
- photocopy of identity document or passport;
- photocopy of the tax code card
