Internships abroad

internship

The University of Parma offers to students regularly enrolled in a bachelor's degree program, master's degree/master's degree program, single-cycle degree program or PhD program internship opportunities at European and international institutions, organizations and companies. This opportunity is also open to recent graduates (within 12 months of graduation) as long as the application for the call for mobility for internship purposes is submitted before the final test is taken.

The ERASMUS+ Program 2021-2027 provides the possibility to carry out mobility for internships not only in European institutions, but also outside Europe.

The main reference Programme for this type of activity is ERASMUS+ KA131 SMT (Student Mobility for Traineeship), which allows you to receive a financial contribution to carry out an internship, lasting from 2 to 12 months, in companies active in the labor market or in the sectors education, training, youth, research and innovation.

It is possible to carry out multiple ERASMUS stays abroad, up to a maximum of 12 months for each study cycle.

In addition, further international internship opportunities are available through consortia of which the University is a partner.

The project is funded by the European program Erasmus+ KA1 Learning Mobility for Students in Higher Education (Project number: 2020-1-IT02-KA103-078224).

The 3rd ed. of the calls promoted by the SEND Consortium and addressed to university staff and students, for the awarding of the last E+ grants within the project "Universities for Eu projects" has been published; the calls are currently available and the deadline for application submission is June 1, 2022 h.12.00 CET.

G.R.E.A.T. Consortium - Gaining a Robust Education Across Traineeships (ERASMUS+)

Now in its 16th year, the new Erasmus+ Traineeship Consortium G.R.E.A.T. (2021-2027) promotes the implementation of educational traineeships abroad in order to boost mobility for training purposes and multilateral cooperation among educational institutions, organizations and businesses.

There are many important new elements in this edition compared to previous ones: first of all, the project now allows Erasmus+ internship mobilities to be carried out in Third-Party Countries not associated with the program (non-EU), and not only in the EU as was the case in the past. Moreover, starting this academic year it is possible to carry out blended type short-term internship mobilities that combine physical mobility (from 5 to 30 days) and virtual distance activities. Finally, the call, in order to increase support to families, provides grants for studente with fewer opportunities and for travel expenses.
