Internships abroad
The University of Parma offers students who are enrolled on a first, second, single-cycle degree or a PhD programme the opportunity to undertake an internship at a European or international institution, organisation or company. Recent graduates (within 12 months of obtaining their degree) are also eligible, provided they submit their application for the internship mobility call before their final exam.
The ERASMUS+ 2021–27 Programme enables trainees to undertake placements not only at European institutions, but also outside Europe.
The main programme of reference for this type of activity is Erasmus+ SMT (Student Mobility for Traineeships), which provides financial support for traineeships lasting from two to 12 months at companies active in the labour market or in the fields of education, training, youth, research and innovation.
Multiple ERASMUS+ stays abroad are possible, up to a maximum of 12 months per study cycle.
In addition, further international internship opportunities are available through consortia partners.
EU4EU Consortium – Call for Internships with a Focus on European Projects 2026/2027
EU4EU, coordinated internationally by EuGen - European Generation, offers students access to a vast database of host companies in Europe, with which they can arrange interviews to find the company where students can carry out the EU4EU internship.

Procedures and time windows for completing and submitting your application online:
- Registration: between October 1st and October 24th, 2026;
- Late registration: between October 25th and November 10th, 2026;
- Matching: between October 29th and December 3rd, 2026.
Applications must be submitted exclusively online through the EU4EU Portal (www.eu4eu.org – “Portal“) starting from October 1st, 2026.
Students who pass the selection will be able to access the second phase of matching with companies offering internships.
Internships must last a minimum of 60 days and a maximum of 150 days.
Grants will be awarded in order of ranking, based on the score assigned to eligible applications (see Articles 4.1 and 4.2).
Students are encouraged to carefully read the call to prepare their application and consult the deadlines.
