What is Italian Erasmus

The Erasmus Italian is a project that allows female students to undertake a period of study and educational activities, such as taking exams, conducting internships or preparing a thesis, in another consortium Italian university, thus enabling the construction of innovative and multidisciplinary teaching courses.

The duration of mobility is a minimum of three months up to a maximum of six months.

The possible destinationsand the courses of study involved are determined by the conventionsstipulated with the individual partner universities.

The participants in the national mobility are selected according to criteria established by the call published annually by the University and, for the winner(s) of the selections, scholarships, based on the conditions defined in the call itself, are to be awarded.

For the 1st teaching period of the academic year 2025/2026, the University of Parma has entered into agreements with the University of Calabria, the University of Catania, the University of Palermo, the University of Rome "La Sapienza", the University of Sassari and the University of Udine.

The call relating to the Italian Erasmus national mobility planned for the 1st teaching period of the academic year 2025/2026 was issued by Rectoral Decree No. 1221 of July 14, 2025. An additional call will be issued for the 2nd didactic period, with an expansion of hubs and courses of study involved.

Who can apply

Can apply to participate in the selection for the Italian Erasmus Program the female students/students enrolled in the academic year 2024/2025 in the following courses of study:

  • Architecture Regeneration Sustainability (L-17)
  • Architecture and Sustainable Cities (LM-4)
  • Medical Biotechnologies, Veterinary and Pharmaceutical (LM-9)
  • International Business and Development (LM-77)
  • Human Nutrition Sciences (LM-61)
  • History and Criticism of the Arts and Entertainment (LM-89) - History, Criticism and Languages of the Arts and the Performing Arts (LM-65+LM-89)

The student(s) must be enrolled ongoing (i.e., within the normal duration of the course of study) and full-time (i.e., without part-time status) and have attained, as of the date of issuance of the call, at least 30 CFUs, if enrolled in degree courses, and at least 20 CFUs, if enrolled in second-cycle degree courses. Supernumerary exams or partial tests are not considered valid.

The mobility departure may be made only for those who are regularly enrolled in the academic year 2024/2025 in the same course of study for which they applied. Inscription shall be considered regular only after payment of the required fees.

Period and duration of mobility

In the academic year 2025/2026 (I didactic period), the national mobility must necessarily end by March 31, 2026.

The mobility period, of the minimum duration of three months and maximum of six months, must be continuous and in attendance.

Students with disabilities or Specific Learning Difficulties interested in participating in the program can report their status to the U.O. Educational Design and Quality Assurance (E-mail: erasmus.italiano@unipr.it).

Planned Academic Activities and Learning Agreement

Before the start of the mobility period, the participating student(s) are required to enter into, in agreement with the Course President, a Learning Agreement that defines, in detail, the programme of study and the activities to be carried out during the exchange period.

The Learning Agreement must identify the educational activities to be followed at the hub during the mobility period and provide for the passing of educational activities, including internship and the preparation of the dissertation, and the acquisition of the relevant CFUs in a number congruent with the duration of the mobility.

At the end of the mobility period, aminimum of 12 CFUs must be achieved, as stipulated in the Learning Agreement.

Students admitted to mobility in the 1st academic period of the academic year 2025/2026 are required to make contact, as soon as possible, with the Course President(s) named below and propose a Learning Agreement containing the course units they intend to take at the host university and the course units in the program of study planned for the academic year 2024/2025 that they intend to validate through the mobility experience at the host university:

The Learning Agreement must be approved by the Course President(s) of your course of study and the host university before your departure.

Obligations of the student(s) during the mobility period

The student(s), during the period of mobility, are required to comply with the rules, procedures and regulations provided by the host University.

The Student(s)/Student(s) are also required to report to the facilities of the host Athenaeum upon arrival, to complete the recognition and formally begin the mobility period, as well as at the end of the mobility period, to formally conclude the activities.

At the end of the mobility period, a minimum of 12 CFUs must be accomplished, in accordance with the Learning Agreement.

During the mobility period, the student is exempt from paying tuition fees at the host university, while he/she is required to continue to pay the contribution to the University of Parma, complying with the deadlines and fulfillments indicated by the University for the academic year in question.
