Every 7 years, the European Commission proposes a series of programs designed to stimulate jobs, growth and investment throughout the European Union. The new Multiannual Financial Framework 2021-2027 has established new funding in the area of Research and Innovation, specifically through the Framework Program Horizon Europe in order to deliver scientific, technological, economic and social impact from EU investments. The updated list of projects won by University researchers under European Commission framework programs is available in the attached file. As part of Horizon Europe, starting from the end of March 2021 the University of Parma has joined one of the 8 Knowledge and Innovation Communities (KICs) of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology, the EIT Manufacturing. The KICs carry out activities covering the entire value chain of innovation: from training and education programs to innovation projects and support for business incubators and accelerators. The EIT Manufacturing in particular aims to strengthen and grow the competitiveness of European manufacturing industry.
