At the end of the assessment, the committee may award the following results:
- eligible
- eligible with a degree to be obtained
- eligible with requirements to be integrated (with or without qualification)
- not eligible
ELIGIBLE
You are considered eligible if you have already obtained a degree and meet the entry requirements for the course you have applied for. You can proceed with the enrolment application (see How to enrol) by paying the first instalment (€156).
Once you have made the payment, the University will send an email confirming your enrolment with your matriculation number and another email with your institutional email address (e.g. nome.cognome@studenti.unipr.it) to the email address you provided when you enrolled.
ELIGIBLE WITH A DEGREE TO BE OBTAINED
You are considered eligible with a degree to be obtained if you meet the entry requirements for the course you have applied for but have not yet obtained your degree.
If you already know that you can't to do this by the deadline for your course, you must pre-enrol (see How to pre-enrol) and pay a €50 fee to reserve your place.
Once you have obtained your degree, you can enrol until 31 March 2026.
If you graduate before the deadline for your course, you can enrol directly (see How to enrol).
Once you have made your payment, the University will send you an enrolment confirmation email to the email address you provided when you enrolled, with your matriculation number and your institutional email address (e.g. nome.cognome@studenti.unipr.it).
ELIGIBLE WITH REQUIREMENTS TO BE INTEGRATED
This outcome can be given for different reasons, depending on the type of requirement to be integrated.
These are the possible scenarios for this outcome:
- Case 1: you have a degree but do not meet the requirements
You already have a degree, but your degree class does not prove that you have the minimum mandatory preparation for admission, and you do not have sufficient credits in certain disciplinary-scientific fields or other requirements that guarantee your eligibility.
In this case you can continue with your enrolment application (see How to enrol) by paying the first instalment of €156. You will not receive your enrolment number until you have integrated your requirements and the words 'requirements to be integrated' appear in your application in Esse3 - Segreteria online.
Once you have integrated the missing requirements, you must attach the corresponding documents to your application in Esse3 - Segreteria online.
The Commission will re-evaluate your application and, if you are found to be eligible and have paid the €156 fee, the University will send you an enrolment confirmation email to the email address you provided when you registered, with your matriculation number and your institutional email address (e.g. nome.cognome@studenti.unipr.it).
- Case 2: you have not graduated and do not meet the requirements
You have not yet graduated and your graduation class does not demonstrate that you have the minimum mandatory preparation for admission, and you do not have sufficient credits in certain disciplinary-scientific fields or other requirements that guarantee your eligibility.
If you already know that you will not complete your three-year degree by the deadline for your course, you must pre-register (see How to pre-register) and pay a €50 fee to reserve your place.
Once you have obtained the missing credits or requirements (other than the degree), you must attach the relevant documents to your application on Esse3 - Online Secretariat.
The Committee will re-evaluate your application and inform you of the outcome:
-> Eligible if you have graduated in the meantime. In this case, if you have already pre-enrolled, you must write to your Student Secretariat to have the first instalment of €156 debited to your account.
Otherwise, you can enrol directly (see How to enrol).
In both cases, once you have paid the €156, the University will send you an enrolment confirmation email to the email address you provided when you enrolled, with your matriculation number and your institutional email address (e.g. nome.cognome@studenti.unipr.it).
-> Eligible with degree to be obtained if you have not yet graduated.
If you graduate after the deadline for your course, you must, if you have not already done so, pre-enrol (see How to pre-enrol).
Once you have obtained your degree, you must request by email from your student secretary's office the payment slip for the first instalment of €156 to finalise your enrolment.
Remember that, in any case, you must obtain your degree by 31 March 2026.
- Case 3: you have not graduated and one of the requirements for admission is your degree grade
You have not yet graduated and, even if your degree class is among those that prove that you have a compulsory minimum preparation for admission, one of the requirements for admission is your degree grade.
If you already know that you will not complete your three-year degree by the deadline for your course, you must pre-enrol (see How to pre-enrol) by paying a €50 fee to reserve your place.
If you graduate within the deadline of your course, you must wait for the committee to assess your grade and then proceed with enrolment (see How to enrol).
Once you have graduated, you must enclose the corresponding documents in your application in Esse3 - Segreteria online.
The committee will re-assess your application and give you the result:
-> eligible, if your degree grade is equal to or higher than the threshold.
In this case, if you have pre-enrolled beforehand, you will have to write to your student secretariat to have the first instalment of €156 charged.
Otherwise, you can proceed directly with enrolment (see How to enrol).
In both cases, when you pay a €156 fee the University will send you an e-mail confirming your enrolment containing your matriculation number and one with your institutional e-mail address (e.g. nome.cognome@studenti.unipr.it).
-> Eligible with requirements to be supplemented, if your degree mark is below the threshold.
In this case, the committee will indicate possible ways of proving your adequate preparation and obtaining eligible status.
NOT ELIGIBLE
You are assessed as not eligible if the committee rejects your application because your degree requirements are not compatible with the entry requirements for the second-cycle degree course you have selected.
