BASIC TRAINING

Module 1: General training (4 hours)

Module 2: Specific training – low risk (4 hours)

 

TRAINING FOR SPECIFIC WORK ACTIVITIES

In addition to the basic training, users in scientific fields must, depending on the risks associated with their work, complete the following modules:

    Module 3: Specific training – medium risk (4 hours)

    Module 3.1: Ionising radiation – Unsealed sources (for those working with radioactive isotopes)

    Module 3.2: Peroxides and peroxidable compounds: how to avoid accidents associated with their reactivity (for those working with chemicals)

    Module 4: High Risk in Healthcare

    Module 4: Specific Training Course for Degree Programmes in the Department of Medical and Veterinary Sciences

    COVID-19 and Dentistry

    COVID-19 and Physiotherapy

    Health and Safety: PhD Students in Chemistry Laboratories (primarily aimed at PhD students carrying out their teaching or research activities in chemistry laboratories)

For practical activities or work placements carried out at external organisations/companies, specific training is provided by the host organisation/company.

Training on health and safety in the workplace will then be supplemented by additional classroom-based training to be held in the laboratory, organised by the Head of Laboratory Teaching and Research, which will also serve as a useful refresher course. 

    Training for supervisors: those who are designated as supervisors, to whom responsibilities of a superior nature are entrusted, even temporarily, and who consequently find themselves in a position to supervise, coordinate or organise the activities of others, must complete an additional 8-hour course available at the link page Elly 2025 Formazione - Section "Safety"

Supervisors will also be invited to attend face-to-face courses.

REFRESHER TRAINING

After completing the basic training, and in any case no later than 5 years from the date of the certificates, the following refresher courses must be attended:

    #2 Healthy lifestyles: diet and work

    #3 Healthy lifestyles: ergonomics and sedentary work
