Users who carry out their work in a laboratory, in the field of data processing, or as technical staff in the construction sector.
BASIC TRAINING
The courses must be completed before starting work.
General training (4 hours)
IN ADDITION:
Specific training – administrative tasks (4 hours) FOR THOSE CARRYING OUT ADMINISTRATIVE/TEACHING TASKS
OR
Specific training – laboratory work (12 hours) ONLY FOR THOSE CARRYING OUT LABORATORY WORK
In addition, the following training is required:
Training for Safety Officers
The PTA appointed as a safety officer must attend a specific face-to-face course.
REFRESHER TRAINING
After completing the basic training, and in any case no later than 5 years after receiving the relevant certificate, the following refresher course must be attended:

#2 Healthy lifestyles: diet and work
#3 Healthy lifestyles: ergonomics and sedentary work
#4 Basic refresher course for workers
#5 Refresher course on chemical risks
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION FOR SPECIFIC WORK ACTIVITIES
In addition to the basic training, technical PTA staff must, depending on the risks associated with their work, complete the following modules:
Reprotoxic substances;
Ionising radiation – unsealed sources;
Peroxides and peroxidisable compounds: how to prevent accidents associated with their reactivity;
Activities in the veterinary sector;
Activities carried out in the Dental Centre;
Activities carried out as part of the Dental Hygiene degree programme;
Presence of asbestos-containing materials (restricted to the Construction Sector – this course cannot be undertaken independently: enrolment must be requested at formazione.sicurezza@unipr.it)
