All communication activities carried out by the partners in connection with EU GREEN must acknowledge the support of the European Union and comply with the applicable visibility requirements.
These activities include, by way of example:
- media relations
- conferences and seminars
- informational materials (brochures, leaflets, posters, presentations)
- digital and printed content
- communication through traditional media and social media
- infrastructures, equipment, vehicles, supplies, or major results funded by the project
Use of the European Union Emblem for Co-funded Projects
All communications and materials must:
- display the European Union flag (emblem)
- include the funding statement, available here.
Key Rules
Beneficiaries may use the emblem without requesting prior authorisation.
The emblem:
- must remain distinct and separate
- may not be modified or combined with other graphic elements, text, or branding
- the use of other logos or visual identities to highlight EU support is not permitted.
Placement of the Emblem Alongside Other Logos
When the EU emblem is displayed together with other logos (e.g. those of partners or sponsors), it must be at least as visible and prominent as the other logos.
Mandatory Disclaimer
All reports and communication materials must include the following disclaimer:
“Funded by the European Union. Views and opinions expressed are however those of the author(s) only and do not necessarily reflect those of the European Union or the European Education and Culture Executive Agency. Neither the European Union nor the granting authority can be held responsible.”
