IRIS is the integrated research data management system of the University of Parma.
The IR module (Institutional Repository) houses the scientific production of faculty and researchers, is the tool the university uses for the analysis and monitoring required in Research Quality Assessment (VQR), National Scientific Habilitation (ASN), accreditation of doctoral colleges and specialty schools.
The AP module (Activities and Projects) collects information on the life cycle of projects, from the submission of the proposal to the realization of the results, allows you to enter the data necessary for the enhancement of scientific aspects, partnerships and collaborations, linking them to institutional research assets (people, groups, equipment, etc.).
The RM (Resource Management) module catalogs and manages the curriculum and scientific responsibilities of faculty and researchers: expertise, collaborations, assignments, awards and recognitions, structuring of research groups.
IRIS is synchronized with the Loginmiur teaching site, uses persistent identifiers by author (ORCID, Scopus ID) and by publication (DOI, Scopus ID, WoS ID, Pubmed ID).
