Before departing for an international exchange programme, every student must sign a Financial Agreement. This official document sets out the terms of the financial support provided for your stay abroad. This page provides information on when you will receive the agreement, how to complete it and what happens if the duration of your stay changes.
What is the Financial Agreement?
The Financial Agreement (also known as the Financial Contract) is drawn up by the Reception, Mobility and International Students Unit for every student selected for a period of European or international mobility. This mandatory document contains:
- the start and end dates of the mobility period
- the amount of the financial grant
- and the conditions for receiving it.
The unit will contact you with detailed instructions regarding the information required for the contract and the relevant deadlines, and will send you the document. You must read the document carefully and then sign it.
By signing the document, your status as a mobility student will be confirmed.
Please note that the mobility dates must be consistent with the academic calendar of the host university and the number of months specified in the bilateral agreement between the University of Parma and the host university (as set out in Annex A to the Call for Applications).
