The public engagement is the set of activities, not for profit, aimed at non-academic audiences with educational, cultural and societal development value through which the University communicates the benefits of education and the results of research.
The University of Parma, also in collaboration with Institutions, Associations and Businesses, organizes events and events aimed at citizens of all ages every year.
Public Engagement activities:
- organization of public cultural activities(for example: concerts, theater performances, film festivals, sporting events, exhibitions, displays, and other events open to the community);
- scientific dissemination (for example: publications dedicated to non-academic audiences, production of radio and television programs, publication and management of websites and other social channels of scientific communication and dissemination);
- initiatives for citizen involvement in research (for example: debates, science festivals and cafes, online consultations, citizen science and contamination lab);
- activities of involvement and interaction with the school world (for example: simulations, hands-on experiments and other laboratory activities).
