Parma, April 21, 2026 - University of Parma led the EU GREEN meeting of the Education (WP2) and Research (WP3) working groups, bringing together more than 100 participants from partner universities in Wrocław.
The meeting was a key moment for the EU GREEN European Alliance, now at the final phase of the first four-year cycle of the project, expiring in December 2026. With this in mind the meeting aimed to validate the results achieved and define strategic priorities in view of the new two-year phase, subject to the approval of the project proposal submitted in early March.
For the University of Parma, the Pro-rector of Education Simone Baglioni, Bernardo Tafuri of the Educational Planning and Course Catalogue Office, the Delegate for the coordination of EU GREEN Work Packages Marco Bartoli and the project manager of the Alliance for our University Alessandro Bernazzoli.
Along with the institutional component, five Unipr doctoral students, selected as EU GREEN contributors, also took part in the meeting: Giulia Oddi, Giorgia Conti, Matteo Profeti, Sabrina Corbellini and Manfredo Gambino.
Parallel to the work of the Teaching and Research groups, the University of Wrocław also hosted the second edition of the Summer School for EU GREEN doctoral students, dedicated this year to the themes of artificial intelligence, along with the 3 Minute Fame event, an international competition focused on presenting one's research project in three minutes.
The presentations of the 30 participating individuals, doctoral students from Alliance universities, stood out for their high scientific quality. Excellent result for University of Parma doctoral student Giorgia Conti, classified third, confirming the level of excellence of the University's doctoral training in the international context and the active role of the University of Parma within EU GREEN, its commitment to the development of innovative models of teaching, research and advanced training in the European context.
