How it works

You can only request a refund for the following reasons:

  • if you graduated within the extraordinary session of a.y. 2025-26 and have already paid the second instalment of a.y. 2026-27;
  • if you have made a payment that was not due as a result of forfeiture;
  • if you transferred to another university in the a.y. 2026-27 and you have paid the second instalment a.y. 2026-27;
  • if you have withdrawn from a course a.y. 2026-27 provided that:
    a) you have never taken, since the year of enrolment examinations, proficiency examinations and/or recognition or validation of examinations taken in a previous career or in external activity;
    b) you have arranged to matriculate in a nationally programmed degree course in a.y. 2026-27;
    c) you have paid the second instalment of the a.a. 2026-27 and have applied for withdrawal from a course and reimbursement by November 18, 2026.

The reimbursement will be paid to you within 60 days from the date of issuance of the authorisation note;

There is no reimbursement of regional tax and virtual stamp duty (156 euros).

Reimbursement can be made by:
- credit to student card (with activated account);
- credit to IBAN in your name or co-owned by you and which you must register by logging in to your Esse3 - Online Registry Services online registry area HOME menu > registry.


If you have not specified the mode by which you wish to obtain refund, the University will not proceed with the reimbursement until you communicate your chosen mode.
