Parma, May 12, 2026 - There is time until May 20 to register for the interdepartmental 5-a-side soccer, golf, padel and volleyball tournaments to be held between May and June at the University of Parma: "community-based" initiatives that are part of the proposals of Unipr4Life, the University's major project on health, psychophysical balance, inclusiveness, sports, correct lifestyles, and sustainable nutrition, and which are part of the ministerial project PRISMA (Promoting Individual and Social Resources for the Academic World), created to promote the psychological well-being of the entire university community and counteract the phenomena of psychological and emotional distress.
The tournaments, run by CUS Parma, are for female students, students and staff of the University and investee companies, and are returning for the second edition after last year's excellent response.
For all tournaments, CUS-FederCUSI membership and a medical certificate for non-competitive sports activity are required. Inscription and membership fees are free for female students and students while for male and female employees the fee is 8 euros. To sign up for the CUS-FederCUSI membership, one must follow the directions.
FEMALE AND MASCHILE SOCCER 5-a-side soccer tournaments
Teams registered can be composed of people all belonging to the same Department or different Departments, Administrative/Management Areas or University Centers.
The inscription fee for each team is 80 euros.

A women's tournament and a men's tournament are planned. The final schedule will be determined based on the number of teams registered. The tournament will begin from Wednesday, May 27, and will be played on Monday through Thursday evenings. The final phase will be completed by June 18.
GOLF TOURNAMENT
The inscription fee for each participant is 5 euros.

Four categories will be awarded: female and male player and "never played" (neophyte) female and male. The tournament will be held tentatively on June 9, starting at 6 p.m. The final schedule, however, will be determined according to the number of people registered.
Open, MIXED AND FEMALE PADEL TOURNAMENTS
Each pair should preferably belong to the same Department. A single Department (or Administrative Area) may have multiple pairs entered on the same board. However, pairs from different Departments are also allowed.
The inscription fee for each pair is 20 euros (10 per participant).

Three tournaments are planned: an open tournament, a mixed tournament and a women's tournament. Pairs consisting of men and women can register indifferently for the open tournament. The tournament will be held indicatively from May 27 to June 18; however, the final schedule will be determined based on the number of registered pairs.
MIXED VOLLEY TOURNAMENT

The inscription fee for each team is 40 euros.
