The University of Parma has signed a Campus-Wide contract with MathWorks for non-commercial teaching and research activities for students, faculty and technical-administrative staff that includes:
- The license to use MATLAB, SIMULINK and the entire suite of published toolboxes: Comprehensive list
- Access to MATLAB Academy which offers interactive, self-paced courses designed to develop hands-on skills on MATLAB, Simulink, Data Science, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, etc, and obtain digital credentials official MathWorks credentials, which can be shared on LinkedIn and in one's CV, as a certification of the skills acquired.

- MATLAB Grader: creates and assigns automatically graded tasks and problems from MATLAB, from your own learning environment (LMS), or in a hosted version provided by MathWorks.
- MATLAB Parallel Server: enables you to scale MATLAB programs and Simulink simulations across clusters and Cloud. MATLAB Parallel Server supports batch processing, interactive parallel computations, and distributed computations with large matrices.
- MATLAB Course Designer: creates MATLAB and Simulink courses with existing materials. Needs MATLAB Academy integration to LMS such as Moodle.
