The Doctoral School in Sciences and Technologies coordinates the PhD Programmes belonging to the CUN Areas 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 7 (Mathematics and Computer Science, Physics, Chemistry, Earth Sciences, Biological Sciences, Agricultural and Veterinary Sciences).

The School represents the main doctoral training framework of the University in fundamental and applied scientific disciplines, integrating mathematics, physics, chemistry, life sciences, earth sciences, food sciences and materials science.

A distinctive feature of the School is the interaction between theoretical models, experimental approaches and technological developments. The breadth of the scientific areas involved fosters an interdisciplinary research environment in which different competences converge on complex scientific challenges.

The School promotes high-level doctoral training, with strong international openness and particular attention to quality and methodological rigour in research education.
