The Doctoral School in Humanities and Social Sciences organized, during the academic years 2024/25 and 2025/26, courses in Academic Writing in English, in collaboration with the University Language Centre (Centro Linguistico di Ateneo - CLA). The course also includes practical sessions on delivering presentations in English for lectures, conferences, seminars, etc., as well as preparation for the main international language certifications.
Furthermore, in the academic year 2025–26 the School is organizing:
- A roundtable open to all PhD candidates of the School, entitled “PhD UNIPR Roundtable: AI and Doctoral Research. Perspectives, Experiences, Challenges”, in which PhD students will share with each other and with senior scholars different experiences related to AI and research (February 27, 2026);
- A “Seal of Excellence Day” (SoE Day) dedicated to the presentation of Research Projects (MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships Individual Actions) from UNIPR that have received a Seal of Excellence certificate from the European Commission’s Horizon Europe programme, with the aim of fostering doctoral and postdoctoral training and participation in the Horizon Europe Programme (7 May 2026).
