The University maintains staff mailing lists, which allow you to reach all teaching and technical-administrative staff by sending a single email.
The mailing lists currently available are:
- personale.docenti@listserv.unipr.it (a list comprising all permanent academic and research staff, fixed-term research staff of both Type A and Type B, post-doctoral positions under Article 22 bis of Law 240/2010 and research contracts under Article 22 of Law 240/2010)
- personale.docente@listserv.unipr.it (list comprising all permanent full and associate teaching staff)
- personale.ricercatore@listserv.unipr.it (list comprising all permanent research staff)
- personale.rtd@listserv.unipr.it (list comprising all fixed-term research staff of both Type A and Type B, post-doctoral positions under Article 22 bis of Law 240/2010 and research contracts under Article 22 of Law 240/2010)
- personale.docente.contratto@listserv.unipr.it (list comprising all contract lecturers)
- personale.tecnico.amminist@listserv.unipr.it (list comprising all technical and administrative staff).
These are moderated lists. Any request to send emails to the lists must be authorised by the Rector, in accordance with the procedures set out below. Responsibility for moderating the lists lies with the U.O. Comunicazione Istituzionale e Cerimoniale.
Certain University departments and units have been granted permanent authorisation by the Rector to send messages.
The sender may send a message at any time of day, but authorisation for dispatch by the list moderator will only be granted during normal working hours, generally on the same day or the day following the message’s dispatch.
The text of the message must not contain any reference to commercial products or advertising of any kind. Nor must it contain offensive language.
Instructions for sending an email to one or more mailing lists
1. Request for authorisation
The request for authorisation must be sent to the Rector at the following address rettore@unipr.it and copied to redazioneweb@unipr.it, attaching the text to be sent and specifying which staff mailing lists the text is addressed to.
2. Sending to staff mailing lists
Once authorisation has been obtained from the Rector, the message may be sent to the agreed mailing lists.
It is recommended that you send the message only after obtaining this authorisation, to prevent the message from being displayed by some email programmes with a date that is too far in the past compared to the actual time of release by the moderators.
2a. Recipients
Messages may be sent to the following addresses:
- personale.docenti@listserv.unipr.it (note: sending a message to this address is equivalent to sending it to the staff of the three lists below, which remain available for targeted mailings);
- personale.docente@listserv.unipr.it
- personale.ricercatore@listserv.unipr.it
- personale.rtd@listserv.unipr.it
- personale.docente.contratto@listserv.unipr.it
- personale.tecnico.amminist@listserv.unipr.it
2b. Sender
Messages must be sent from the email address specified in the authorisation received (personal or departmental), which will then appear as the sender of the email. It is advisable to include a header with the email address that clearly identifies the sender.
2c. Subject
A subject line is mandatory for every message; it must not be written entirely in capital letters to avoid spam issues.
2d. Attachments
The maximum permitted size for sending a message is quite high, but it is nevertheless strongly discouraged to send attachments or include images larger than 4 MB. Instead of an attachment, it is recommended to provide a link to a file that can be downloaded from the web.
Please note that the Institutional and Ceremonial Communications Unit is not responsible for managing any anti-spam filters. For any issues relating to spam, please contact Area Sistemi Informativi.
