The conversion of grades and the validation of credits earned are the responsibility of the CMI of the relevant department. The CMI uses criteria set by EGRACONS to make these decisions, and only CMI lecturers have access to this information. Therefore, it is not possible to provide conversion tables.

Erasmus+ SMS mobility can last from 2 to 12 months (up to 24 months for single-cycle master's degree students) over the course of a degree programme.

Overworld SMS mobility can last from 3 to 12 months over the course of a degree programme.

Annex A (list of host institutions) specifies the duration set out in the bilateral agreement signed by the two universities.

Yes, this is possible provided the period is at least 2 months, the host university offers one-semester courses rather than full-year courses, and the host institution approves it.

Yes, provided that the total duration of the mobility period does not exceed 12 months, you can apply for an extension using the appropriate form (available on the dedicated page). This is applicable if you intend to sit an exam after the end date of the mobility period specified in the financial agreement or if you wish to extend the mobility period until the second semester of the academic year.

The form must be signed by the mobility coordinator at the host university and the department's mobility contact at UNIPR. The list of international mobility contacts for each department is available on the relevant contacts page.

The form must then be sent to the Erasmus Office at least one month before the end of the originally planned mobility period. Please note that approval of the extension request does not guarantee automatic funding for the additional mobility period. To verify the availability of funding for the extension period, you will need to wait until the agreement has been finalised and check whether there are any remaining EU funds.

This is possible provided that the main focus remains on attending lectures and that prior agreement is reached with the host institution and the internship coordinator for your degree programme. It is not permitted to undertake exclusively internship activities. Furthermore, in order to qualify as part of the mobility scheme, the internship cannot take place in Italy or in the student’s country of residence.

You may participate under the Erasmus Regulations as long as you remain enrolled at the University of Parma. However, it is advisable to consult the academic chair of the CMI in your department to discuss the academic aspects. The SMS mobility scheme would also enable you to conduct your dissertation research, provided that you already have a supervisor and a topic, and have confirmed with the host institution that they can accommodate your research.

Students are generally not permitted to take exams at UNIPR during their exchange period, but there are certain exceptions.

Specifically, due to the nature of the programme, students on the course in Medicine and Surgery have been granted permission to take exams at the University of Parma during their exchange period, provided they meet certain conditions. Interested students are invited to email the Erasmus Office for further information.

A standard grant is provided for Erasmus+ mobility from EU funds. The amount varies by country and may differ from one agreement to another. Any supplementary grants depend on individual circumstances. All grants are specified in the call for applications, and the procedures for their disbursement are described in the Mobility Guide.

You can use the Erasmus Grant Simulator platform to simulate some of the grants you are entitled to.

Please note that the platform is European and does not simulate all the grants provided for in the UniPR call for applications.

You must request the ToR from your department's student office at least ten days in advance. Specify that they are required for an Erasmus+ mobility placement and attach the relevant A13 application form, which can be found at the following link.

It depends on the host institution. Some institutions require the Learning Agreement to be submitted at the time of enrolment, whilst others have a later deadline.

In any case, it must be submitted before the start of the mobility period.
