The ASviS Sustainable Development Festival in Parma is an event that promotes economic, social and environmental sustainability. It is organised by the University of Parma with the patronage and collaboration of the Municipality of Parma, the RUS - University Network for Sustainable Development and the EU GREEN Alliance.
The initiative, at national level, is organised by the Italian Alliance for Sustainable Development (ASviS).
In Parma, the 2025 edition will take place from 17 to 23 May with the following programme:

Hackathon - Decarbonise your city!
Are you ready to put your creativity and team spirit to the test?
We invite you to participate in the Hackathon ‘Decarbonise your city!’, organised by the University of Parma in collaboration with EMS - Ecology and Sustainable Mobility APS.
When and where:
Monday, 19 May 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. – Hackathon at the Science and Technology Campus - Scientific Engineering Study Room
Wednesday, 21 May 2025 at 9:00 p.m. – Award ceremony at the Astra Cinema, during Luca Perri's talk
Who can participate:
Students from all bachelor's, master's, doctoral and university master's degree programmes at the University of Parma.
Objective:
You will work in teams, with the support of expert mentors, to devise innovative design solutions dedicated to urban decarbonisation, taking into account environmental sustainability, energy policies and the 2030 Agenda Goals.
