EPO (European Patent Office ) and EUIPO (European Union Intellectual Property Office) - Pan-European Seal Professional Traineeship Programme.

Call 2023/2024

In its role as a partner, the University of Parma, in collaboration with the EPO (European Patent Office) and EUIPO (European Union Intellectual Property Office) agencies, promotes internship opportunities aimed at students holding a bachelor's or master's degree (or intending to acquire it by September 2023 or before the start of the internship period). The internship activity includes remuneration from the two agencies, details of which can be found in the official documentation available.

Participation is possible through the completion (no later than 8:00 pm next February 26, 2023) of an initial expression of interest (see references below)to participate in the selection. Expressions of interest will then be sent to the Agencies by 02/28/2023. This will then be followed by an application phase that interested candidates will be asked to complete independently in a personal relationship with the sponsoring agencies.

Participation is open to students and/or recent graduates in one of the following subject areas (indicated in English as per official communication):

  • Law
  • IP law (including industrial design)
  • IP & Knowledge Management (e.g. IP research, online training)
  • Political Sciences & International Relations
  • Linguistics
  • Economics & Business Administration/Entrepreneurship
  • Information Technology: Data Analysis, IT Security, Business Analysis, Software Engineer, Customer Service Solutions, Process Automation, Artificial Intelligence
  • Communication & Visual Design
  • Facility Management: Architect, Civil engineer, Logistics management
  • Human Resources

Please note that, in the phase between the University of Parma's sending of the name to the European Agencies and the candidate's enrollment, the candidate must have completed one of the courses required by EPO/EUIPO.

Call for applications 2022/2023 for attending selected European and international Summer Schools

As part of the allocation of national funds 5x1000 - financial year 2019 (Funds earmarked for international mobility), the University of Parma is making available € 37,600.00 for the allocation of mobility grants for students' participation in Summer Schools of an appropriate scientific and cultural level, as identified by the International Mobility Committees of the various University Departments.

The announcement is published with Rector's Decree n. 662/2023, Prot n. 94766 on 05/04/2023.

The deadline for submitting applications is set for 12:00 noon on Tuesday, APRIL 18, 2023.

EnRHed Project "ENHANCEMENT OF RWANDAN HIGHER EDUCATION IN STRATEGIC FIELDS FOR SUSTAINABLE GROWTH"

The EnRHED project has been awarded EU co-funding under the ERASMUS+ "Capacity Building in the Field of Higher Education" program, which supports the modernization, accessibility and internationalization of higher education in partner countries, in this case Rwanda.

The EnRHEd project targets organizations to help improve curricula, governance, and strengthening relationships between higher education systems.

For the academic year 2021/2022, the University of Parma is funding 6 mobility grants for a stay ranging from 15 to 30 days, aimed at implementing projects such as:

  • Production of updated/new teaching/learning materials for use within the EnRHEd project;
  • Conducting academic research in the scientific areas covered by the call;
  • Participation in classes with local students;
  • Preparation of at least 1 lecture in one of the subjects relevant to EnRHEd activities;
  • Production and dissemination of the aims of the EnRHEd project on communication and social channels

The deadline for submission of applications is scheduled for 12:00 noon on June 17, 2022.
