Functions
The University Quality Committee performs functions of promotion, surveillance and monitoring of continuous quality improvement and defines processes and procedures for Quality Assurance. Considering the centrality of quality in the University of Parma system, the University Statute contemplates the University Quality Committee as a University Body and, in Article 16, provides for and regulates its functions.
The University Quality Committee constantly interacts with both the University Bodies and the departmental teaching and research structures through the Department Quality Committee.
Composition
The Vice-Dean with proxy for Teaching and Student Services, the Vice-Dean with proxy for Research and the Vice-Dean with proxy for Third Mission are permanent guests at the University Quality Committee meetings.
