Parma, October 20, 2025 - The University of Parma, leader of Work Package 6 "Mobility and Internationalization" within the European Alliance EU GREEN, has successfully organized the first meeting of ERASMUS+ coordinators and coordinators in Brussels, bringing together mobility experts, professors and coordinators from partner universities.
Representing the University of Parma were the Rector's Delegate to the Erasmus+ Program and Mobility Ilaria Zanotti, Andrea Artoni, Cristina Carusi, Giancarlo Condello, Mario Veneziani and Emanuela Maio representing the Departments' International Mobility Commissions, Alessandro Bernazzoli , Vagia Niki Stergioula and Elisa Pelizziari of the International Relations and EU GREEN Office.
The meeting was a significant step toward strengthening the Alliance's commitment to building a truly integrated European higher education space and focused on strengthening cooperation between institutions, improving mobility frameworks, and co-creating innovative tools to support student-centered learning within the EU GREEN Alliance.
Main outcomes include: Strengthening inter-institutional cooperation (interactive workshops and roundtables to consolidate partnerships and streamline mobility processes between institutions), development of customized Learning Agreements (co-design of flexible and transparent Learning Agreement templates to facilitate intra-alliance mobility and ensure academic recognition), networking and community-building activities (creation of professional connections between coordinators and professors, laying the foundation for a cohesive and sustainable mobility network), initiation of new initiatives (proposal of several pilot projects to promote physical, virtual and blended mobility, with a focus on inclusivity, accessibility and students' empowerment).
The meeting can be considered a milestone in the EU GREEN Alliance's journey towards building a flexible, inclusive and student-focused European university. In line with the European Commission's priorities under the University Alliances Program, EU GREEN continues to promote mobility as a pillar of internationalization and academic excellence.
The outputs from the meeting will directly contribute to the definition of future mobility strategies and the creation of an open and dynamic environment in which students and professors can move, learn and teach freely.
