The scope of the Francisco Coello award promoted by the Universidad de Jaén is international and reaches the entire university community: university graduates who have presented their final degree projects and final master's projects in topics related to the fields of Geomatic Engineering may participate:
- Cartography
- Geodesy
- Topography
- Photogrammetry
- Cadastre
- Geographic Information Systems
- Remote Sensing
- Territorial Planning
A single award modality is established for all works, regardless of the university degree achieved (bachelor's or master's degree or equivalent), with the following three prizes:
- First prize, endowed with 1.500 euro and delivery of a bronze bust of D. Francisco Coello de Portugal y Quesada.
- Second prize, endowed with 1.000 euro.
- Third prize, endowed with 500 euro.
In addition to the above, the winners will be able to receive material provided by collaborating entities.
