EUGreen - European University Alliance for sustainability

Parma, March 18, 2026 - The “Get Active Challenge 2026” will take place from 14 April to 5 May. This initiative is aimed at students and staff of the EU GREEN Universities and was created to promote daily physical activity, teamwork, and a healthy, sustainable lifestyle.

Registrations open on 23 March. Participation is possible either individually or in teams of up to five people. Performances will be recorded and processed through the mobile app Kiplin, available for both Android and iOS. Instructions and further details can be found on the dedicated page.

How does it work? Walking, cycling, or short strolls are converted into “kips”, which are then turned into points. Every movement counts, including daily activities such as travelling to the University or taking a walk during lunch break. The challenge features individual, team, and university leaderboards, fostering collaboration and team spirit.

At the end of the challenge, three rankings will be drawn up: individual, team, and university. This year, the nine EU GREEN universities will compete for the overall victory.

Participation is free of charge. The “Get Active Challenge 2026” is a great opportunity to get moving, have fun, and represent the University of Parma in the competition among the Alliance’s universities.
