Parma, 6 July 2026 – The Italian Ministry of University and Research (MUR) has announced the dates of the admission tests for nationally regulated degree programmes with restricted access for the 2026–2027 academic year.
The dates relevant to degree programmes offered by the University of Parma are as follows:
- Health Professions – Italian-taught Bachelor's degree programmes: Healthcare Assistance (administrative headquarters: University of Modena and Reggio Emilia), Professional Education, Physiotherapy, Nursing, Speech and Language Therapy, Orthoptics and Ophthalmic Assistance, Midwifery, Hearing Aid Techniques, Prevention Techniques in the Environment and Workplace, Biomedical Laboratory Techniques, Medical Imaging and Radiotherapy Techniques, Neuro and Psychomotor Therapy for Developmental Age – Wednesday, 16 September 2026
- Health Professions – English-taught Bachelor's degree programme: Dental Hygiene – Thursday, 17 September 2026
- Medicine and Surgery (single-cycle Master's degree, taught in English) – Wednesday, 30 September 2026
- Architecture, Regeneration and Sustainability (Bachelor's degree) – by Wednesday, 30 September 2026 (the exact date is determined by each university in its own admission notice; at the University of Parma, two test sessions are scheduled: 24 July and 9 September, provided that places are still available after the first session)
- Nursing and Midwifery Sciences – Nursing Profile (Master's degree in the Health Professions) – Monday, 5 October 2026
The Ministry of University and Research will issue further decrees specifying the number of available places, as well as the admission procedures and the content of the tests. All updates will be published on the University of Parma website.
Please note that this MUR announcement does not apply to the Italian-taught degree programmes in Medicine and Surgery, Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics, and Veterinary Medicine, for which the open semester system remains in place. Further information on the open semester is expected from the Ministry.
