Event description

Piazza of Future Ateliers.

L’Academy AI for Responsible Use at Work and in Business: From Theory to Practice is a training Academy dedicated to the informed and responsible use of artificial intelligence in professional settings. Through a two-day seasonal school, the project combines theoretical sessions, stakeholder perspectives and applied work on real use cases. It aims to develop AI-related skills, encourage critical reflection on ethics, data and organisational impact, and support the responsible integration of digital tools into business processes. The programme also strengthens dialogue between universities, companies and labour representatives, helping to reduce the mismatch between young people's skills and labour-market needs. The training activities will contribute to the development of a Responsible AI Manifesto that can provide a basis for future initiatives on the topic.

The seasonal school runs over two days, for a total of sixteen hours. The first day introduces the principles and functioning of artificial intelligence, data management and key ethical issues, combining academic input, stakeholder contributions and discussion of real cases. The second day focuses on applications in business settings: participants work in groups on design challenges involving data analysis, content production and the development of innovative solutions. The programme also includes simulations and role plays on ethical dilemmas, as well as discussions with companies, cooperatives, IT organisations and labour representatives. Dedicated networking sessions connect students, young professionals and businesses. Evidence gathered during lectures and workshops is finally consolidated into a shared set of guidelines for responsible AI use, intended for subsequent public presentation.

The activities will be held in English language.
