To obtain the Study entry visa (D type), you must register online through the Universitaly portal.
You will need to select the University of Parma and specify the Embassy or Consulate where you will apply for an entry visa. This pre-application will be evaluated by our University and the response will be forwarded to you and the Embassy at the same time after the pre-evaluation is complete.
You will then automatically receive through the portal our assessment and be able to download the “Summary” to submit to the Embassy for the Visa application. The final decision on the issuance of a study Visa is the sole responsibility of the Diplomatic-Consular Representation.
You can independently verify which type of Visa you need based on your personal choice of study path and nationality directly through the Farnesina Site (Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation).

This pre-enrollment does not guarantee you the right to admission: before pre-enrolling, make sure you meet the admission requirements, including pre-assessment to the course of study of interest where necessary and all mandatory documents.
Remember to also upload the acceptance letter in case your degree program issues it.
