Where can I find the information?
The staff of the Erasmus and International Home has prepared a handbook dedicated to exchange students undertaking mobility for study at the University of Parma: the purpose of this handbook is to provide guidance for the entire exchange period, starting from the application procedures, the filling out of the Learning Agreement for study up to the recognition of the activities that the student will carry out during the mobility. It illustrates the main peculiarities of the University of Parma and the services dedicated to exchange students. The handbook also provides students with some suggestions for planning their arrival in Parma.
The handbook contains hyperlinks to all relevant pages and services: it is recommended that you download and save it to your PC and consult it in the section for which you need more in-depth information.
If you are a student on Erasmus+ mobility, you can download and use the Erasmus+ App. The app provides support to Erasmus+ mobility students before, during, and after the experience.

Erasmus and International Home staff organize a series of online meetings to help nominated students prepare for their exchange period in Parma. These events are held twice a year, during each Application phase: a summer session for first-semester and full academic year exchange students and a winter session for second-semester exchange students. These are the main topics covered:
- Introduction to the University of Parma; registration process at UNIPR and in the Universitaly portal for students requiring visas;
- Introduction to the Departments, the courses offered and the preparation of the Learning Agreement;
- Services and facilities (accommodation, Italian courses, Erasmus Student Network, etc.)

Welcome Day and Departments meetings for incoming students in Parma
At the beginning of each semester, we plan a Welcome Day during which Erasmus and International Home staff presents some administrative and practical aspects and local University of Parma partners introduce themselves to exchange students and explain their services.
