The Welcome Day is set for Wednesday, September 17, 2025.
We will meetat Piazzale San Francesco, 2 for the traditional group photo at 09:00 a.m.
The event involves representatives of the City of Parma, the Welcome Office and the Libraries of the University, and Unipr partners:

- Crédit Agricole, the University's partner for the Student Card

- CUS Parma (University Sports Center)
- TEP (Public Transportation)
Representatives of all entities are, on this occasion, available to students to explain their activities and answer questions.
During the event, the procedures and activities of the International Office are also explained by the Internationalization Unit.
It is possible to apply for the Ambassadors in Parma project, which directly involves incoming Erasmus+ and Overworld students: as part of the dissemination objectives of the exchange experience, they will be the "ambassadors" of their home university to the boys and girls of Parma who plan to participate in the next mobility calls.
During the event will also be present Erasmus Student Network - ESN-ASSI Parma, who will illustrate the many initiatives planned by the association for all the students and female guests of the University.
In addition to the general Welcome Day, each department has its own Welcome Meeting for incoming students; you can find all the information here. Each meeting provides important information about the mobility experience, so attendance at both is highly recommended.
Arrigo Boito Conservatory Visit - September 27, 2025
To mark the welcome events for exchange students, the Arrigo Boito Conservatory of Music is organizing a guided tour and horn concert dedicated to students and faculty of the University of Parma.
We look forward to welcoming you on Saturday, September 27, 2025 at 11 a.m., in Strada del Conservatorio
- 11 a.m.: Welcome and short guided tour of the Carmine complex
- 11:30 a.m.: Concert in the cloister (in case of bad weather in the Auditorium)
- 12:30 Aperitif in the cloister offered by the Conservatory
Concert for Horn Ensemble "Not only Verdi: horns from operatic music to film music"
The program will focus on the music of Verdi and his contemporaries along with some film music such as Hans Zimmermann's for Crimson Tide

From hunting and heroic peals to its transformation in nineteenth-century opera into the quintessential romantic instrument thanks to its dark and deep sound , the horn has many souls within it, a peculiarity that has allowed it to play an important role in the music of all eras up to contemporary film music
