Internship application
To apply please send your proposal to the Erasmus Office by email. It will then be forwarded to the most relevant internship coordinator based on the profile of the potential intern.
You must attach the following to your email to the Erasmus Office:
- A curriculum vitae
- A letter of motivation
- Details about your internship (period, language skills, skills you already possess and skills you expect to acquire)
- Medical students are also required to provide an Academic Transcript of Records (listing your exams at your home institution) and a B2 Italian language certificate.
You must ensure that you apply for a mobility programme for internships, not for a mobility programme for studies (even if your study plan includes an internship). The registration procedures are different for each type of mobility.
If the contact person accepts your application, the Erasmus Office will notify you of the successful outcome of your application by email. Approximately one month before the start of the mobility programme, you will receive enrolment instructions by email.
Documents needed for registration
To apply, you must provide the following documents:
- Copy of a personal identity document (for EU citizens: identity card; for non-EU citizens: passport). Please ensure that the file is clearly legible and shows both the front and back.
- A language certificate attesting to your proficiency in the language required by the host department.
- Learning Agreement for the Internship, signed by at least you and your Coordinator at your home university (see below for details).
- Proof of acceptance of the mobility period at the University of Parma (this can be an official letter of acceptance, an email sent by your supervisor in Parma, or a Learning Agreement for the Internship signed by your Coordinator in Parma).
- Proof of student status and eligibility for Erasmus for the requested period.
For medical students (in addition to documents 1, 2, 3 and 4):
- Official and up-to-date Academic Transcript of Records (issued by the registration office of your home institution)
- Vaccination certificate, which must be sent by email to smedprev@unipr.it (NOT to the Erasmus Office together with the application documents).
In addition to enrolment, non-EU trainees may need additional official documents for entry and stay in Italy. For further information, please consult the dedicated page.
