How can I change my LAS?
The Learning Agreement for Study may be amended once per semester, if necessary, using the ‘During Mobility’ section for amendments.
When completing this section, you must use the same online or paper format as for the original LAS. In this section, you must only list the courses you wish to add, delete or modify from the 'Before Mobility' section. Do not repeat courses that you do not wish to modify.
You can also provide a reason for any changes; a reference list is available on the last page of the Learning Agreement, which provides further instructions. The procedure for submitting the 'During Mobility' section is the same as for the 'Before Mobility' section.
Limitations on modifications
Please note that you can amend your Learning Agreement once per semester. Students on a one-year exchange can therefore make two changes per mobility: if you have already submitted a change in the first semester, you can submit another 'During Mobility' change in the second semester.
In order to take effect, the modified Learning Agreement must be evaluated and approved by the relevant person at your home university and at the University of Parma. Once signed by all parties, the document must be forwarded by the student to the Erasmus Office in Parma by email.
Deadlines
It is not possible to make changes to the Learning Agreement during the semester. Students must check the deadlines to ensure it is still possible to change the Learning Agreement.
There are two deadlines, one for each semester:
- For the first semester: 31 October
- For the second semester: 31 March
Entering courses into ESSE3
After receiving your Learning Agreement for Study complete with signatures, the Erasmus Office will upload your career in ESSE3. In this way, you will be able to register for the different exams in Parma.
Uploads begin after the deadline for the Learning Agreement changes mentioned above, and continue for a few weeks.
