Calculation, deadlines and payment methods for part-time students

On this page you will find all the useful information on how contributions are calculated for people enrolled part-time and when and how to pay them during the academic year.

If you are a part-time student or student, your personalized university contribution will correspond to half of that for full-time enrollees.

To elaborate on all the information you will read, we encourage you to consult the Allegato 3 in the last paragraph of the page, which is the official document regarding fees and the contribution system.

Calculation of contributions

University tuition and fee amounts vary according to:

  • merit: only CFUs accrued in the twelve months prior to August 10 are considered. Merit requires having accrued 5 CFUs for inscription in year 2; 12 CFUs for years after year 2. New students are not required to have merit in their first year of inscription;
     
  • enrollment seniority: years of inscription at the University of Parma are counted (course transitions do not reset seniority; dropping out, on the other hand, resets them);
     
  • course subject area: to find out which disciplinary area your course belongs to, please consult Annex 3 on this page;
     
  • economic asset status: calculated on the basis of ISEE. The ISEE must be reported from June 23 to 5 p.m. on November 4, 2026through online procedure on site of ER.GO, the Regional Agency for Higher Education. For more details on ISEE submission and necessary documentation visit related page.

With the exception of economic data, all others are collected ex officio.

Merit, seniority of inscription, disciplinary area and proportional to ISEE indicator determine the all-inclusive university fee, i.e. the second and third instalments. If you are a part-time student or student, the personalized university contribution will correspond to half of that for full-time enrolled and enrolled students.

The first instalment (or tuition fee), on the other hand, is the same for all and that corresponds to 156 euros (140 euros of regional tax and 16 euros of virtual stamp duty).

For the 2026-27 academic year, the annual inscription amount for our degree courses thus includes: the regional tuition fee (140 euros), the virtual stamp ( 16 euros) and the all-inclusive university fee, calculated in a personalized manner based on the requirements of merit, seniority of inscription, disciplinary area and proportional to the ISEE indicator (Equivalent Economic Situation Indicator).

You can consult the calculation formula of the personalized university contribution and the table of minimum and maximum amounts in the Allegato 3.

If your ISEE exceeds 70,000 euros or if you fail to submit your ISEE data by November 4, 5 p.m., you will be required to pay the absolute maximum contribution provided for your disciplinary area and your merit and seniority status.

Who is covered by the No Tax Area?

Under a certain threshold of ISEE and in the presence of other conditions, the personalized university contribution corresponds to 0.

Find out below who falls into the no tax area and pays only the regional tax and stamp duty (156 euros).

  • who matriculates in the a.y. 2026/27 and who:
    - has communicated by 5 p.m. on November 4, 2026through the procedure on site of ER.GO a valid ISEE for the right to education at higher education not exceeding 27,000.00 euros.
     
  • who is enrolled within the first year outside prescribed time for course completion and who:
    -have matured from 11/08/2025 to 10/08/2026 10 CFUs (for those enrolling in the second year) or 25 CFUs (for those enrolling in the years following the second)
    -have notified, by 5 p.m. on November 4, 2026through the procedure on site of ER.GO, a valid ISEE for the right to education at higher education not exceeding 27,000.00 euros.
     

In these cases only the first instalment bulletin (156 euros) will be published and the other two will not appear.

If you communicate your ISEE after the publication of the bulletins (but still by November 4 at 5 p.m.) after 24 hours from the completion of the online application on the ER.GO website, if you fall in no tax area, these will disappear from the payment section in your reserved area of Esse3 - Online Secretariat.

Breakdown and payment schedule

All bulletins are available in your restricted area of Esse3 - Online Secretariat under the menu item SEGRETERIA>PAYMENTS.

FIRST INSTALMENT

You pay according to the course of study you choose (check the deadline on the summary sheet for future students 26-27 under the section "Access modalities" and in Annex 2 - Administrative deadlines a.y. 2026-27).
The amount is the same for all and all and corresponds to 156 euros (regional tax € 140 and virtual stamp 16).
 

SECOND INSTALMENT

You pay by November 18, 2026 (see Annex 2 - Administrative Deadlines).
The amount corresponds to50% of the personalized university contribution.
The bulletin will be published at the time of payment of the first instalment.

If you have not yet filled out the ISEE application on the ER.GO website, the amount of 50% of the personalized university contribution is the maximum amount (calculated only according to the disciplinary area of the course and seniority of inscription).

If you intend to apply for the calculation of the personalized university contribution,calculated on the basis of ISEE, you do not have to pay the bulletin with the maximum amount that will appear to you, but you must fill out the relevant application on the ER.GO website by 5 p.m. on November 4, 2026.
After 24 hours after filling out the application on the ERGO website, you will be able to view the new bulletin recalculated on the basis of ISEE.

If you fill out the ISEE application by self-certifying a provisional protocol number you will have to pay 50% of the maximum personalized university contribution. At a later date, following the transmission by INPS of the final ISEE data, the amount will be subsequently redefined.

If you have already paid 50% of the maximum personalized university contribution but you are still on time to do so, you can still fill out the ISEE application on the ER.GO website as long as it is done by the deadline of November 4 at 5 p.m.
Theamount will be subsequently redefined.

Under no circumstances will applications for calculation of personalized university contribution based on ISEE be accepted after the deadline of November 4, 2026 5 pm.

 

THIRD INSTALMENT

You will pay by April 30, 2027 (see Annex 2 - Administrative Deadlines).

The bulletin will be published upon payment of the first instalment.

All bulletins are available in your Restricted area of Esse3 - Online Secretariat under the menu item SEGRETERIA>PAYMENTS.

FIRST INSTALMENT

You pay from August 5 to September 17, 2026.
The amount is the same for all and all and corresponds to 156 euros (regional tax € 140 and virtual revenue stamp 16).
 

SECOND RATE

You pay by November 18, 2026.
The amount corresponds to50% of the personalized university contribution.
The bulletin will be published when the first instalment is paid.

 

If you have not yet filled out the ISEE application on the ER.GO website, the 50% amount of the personalized university contribution is the maximum amount (calculated only by course subject area, seniority of inscription and merit).

If you intend to apply for the calculation of the personalized university contribution,calculated on the basis of ISEE, you do not have to pay the bulletin with the maximum amount that will appear to you, but you must fill out the relevant application on the ER.GO website by 5 p.m. on November 4, 2026.
After 24 hours after filling out the application on the ERGO website, you will be able to view the new bulletin recalculated on the basis of ISEE.

If you fill out the ISEE application by self-certifying a provisional protocol number you will have to pay 50% of the maximum personalized university contribution. At a later date, following the transmission by INPS of the final ISEE data, the amount will be subsequently redefined.

No applications for the calculation of the personalized university contribution based on ISEE will be accepted under any circumstances after the deadline of November 4, 2026 at 5 p.m.

 

THIRD RATE

You pay by April 30, 2027.

The bulletin will be posted at the time of payment of the first instalment.

 

If you are without the bulletin by the due dates above, you must contact your student registry office for verification and possible posting.

 

All bulletins are available in your Restricted area of Esse3 - Online Secretariat under the menu item SEGRETERIA>PAYMENTS.

FIRST INSTALMENT

  • Matriculas: si pay according to the course of study chosen (check the deadline on the summary sheet for future students 26-27 under "Access modalities" and in aAnnex 2 - Administrative deadlines a.a. 2026-27).
  • Registered(s) to years after the first: you pay from August 5 to September 17, 2026.

The amount is the same for all and all and corresponds to 156 euros (regional tax € 140 and virtual stamp 16).


SECOND AND THIRD INSTALMENTS

They are not paid.

WARNING! In this case, the relevant bulletins will not appear. If you communicate your ISEE after the publication of the bulletins (but still by November 4 at 5 pm) after 24 hours from the completion of the online application on the ER.GO website, if you fall in no tax area, they will disappear from the payment section in your reserved area of Esse3 - Online Secretariat.

Payment arrangements

University contribution payment must be made using the pagoPA (IUV) system, which is the electronic payment system to the public administration.

To make the payment you need to access your Restricted area of Esse3 - Online Secretariat under the SEGRETERIA>PAYMENTS menu item.

If you are a current scholar: for enrolment and inscription for subsequent years (excluding outside prescribed time for course completion) you pay the reduced fee (regional fee and virtual stamp) only if you have already filled out the scholarship application on the ERGO website.

WARNING! For the University, the date shown on the telematic payment receipt (RT) with the outcome "payment made" is authentic.
 

Payment will be automatically registered by our computer system for managing the careers of students and female students indicatively within 5 days after the date of actual payment.

Career blocking

If you are not current on your installment payments, you cannot book, take exams and/or perform other career acts.
