University's policy for student services
Student services represent one of the main assets of the University of Parma's development plans and, as part of the University's policy, these services must be able to accompany the student throughout his or her university career, starting from guidance at the entrance and moving on to tutoring, internships and traineeships and job placement, in close collaboration with business realities. In this sense, the University intends to strengthen and strive for continuous improvement in the provision of cutting-edge services and pursue strong educational and methodological innovation, while respecting the protection of the right to education.
The document below focuses on the main strategic lines of the University of Parma under which student services in the educational sphere are developed, articulated through a series of specific actions implemented by the University to offer and implement the network of services in support of students.
University Policy for Student Services
University Policies and Programming
In accordance with the ANVUR Guidelines for the initial accreditation of newly activated courses of study by the Commissions of Evaluation Experts (CEV), the required information on initial accreditation must be made available, in addition to the SUA-CdS forms of the courses proposed for new activation, in the documents called "University Policies and Programming" and "Study Course Design".
The "University Policies and Programming" document, consistent with the strategy of the Educational Offerings expressed in the University Strategic Plan, must contain the objectives and corresponding priorities that guide the University's policies, specifying the role assigned to the proposed new courses of study consistent with these choices and priorities and for the achievement of the stated objectives; the document must also contain an assessment of the University's educational offerings from which they emerge:
- the sustainability of the course;
- the set of resources referred to the faculty at regime for new courses of study.
The documents "University Policies and Planning" and "Study Course Design" are uploaded, by the O.U. Teaching Design and Quality Assurance, into the RAD and SUA-CdS Data-Bank, at the same time as the Single Annual Study Course Data Sheets (SUA-CdS) and any other documents deemed useful to motivate the activation of study courses, so that they can be consulted by the Committees of Evaluation Experts (CEV) in charge of expressing their opinion on the initial accreditation of newly activated courses.
