Follow the admission steps

If you are an international student interested in enrolling at the University of Parma for the academic year 2026–27, take part in the call for admission to Second-cycle degree programmes taught in Italian. 

  1. Register on the University Portal: Registration. For more information click on GUIDE TO REGISTER ON THE UNIVERSITY SYSTEM AND TO RECOVER CREDENTIALS IN THE EVENT OF LOSS.
  2. Prepare the required documents: Curriculum vitae; Language certification; Bachelor’s degree diploma (officially translated into Italian or English); Academic Transcript of Records;
  3. Submit your application;
  4. Obtain your Letter of Acceptance;
  5. Once you receive the evaluation, continue with the following steps of the Admission process for international students.

Most frequently asked questions (FaQ)

Don’t have a B2 Italian language certificate?

Remember that, in order to be admitted to a degree programme taught in Italian, you must provide proof of Italian language proficiency at least at the B2 level (CEFR). If you have not yet obtained a B2 Italian language certificate, click here to register for the University Italian Language Test.

How can I know if my application has been correctly received?

If you receive a confirmation email at the address you used for registration, it means that your application has been successfully submitted. You will then need to wait for the evaluation process to be completed. You will receive a communication with either a positive or negative result, or a request for additional documents if something is missing. Evaluation times may vary depending on the number of applications received.

When will I receive the evaluation result?

The evaluation outcome may be sent even after the application deadline. Evaluation times may vary depending on the number of applications received. In any case, wait for the evaluation result before applying for your visa.
