The University of Parma was among the first to include a strategic objective concerning the reception of refugees in its strategic plan, a commitment that also stems from its signing of the Manifesto of the Inclusive University promoted by UNHCR. For this reason, the University of Parma has been committed from the outset to facilitating the recognition of the educational qualifications of beneficiaries of international and humanitarian protection as a starting point for facilitating the integration and participation of refugees in the life of the University and the city. With a view to making the various paths to integration and the right to education, including access to higher education, a concrete possibility, the University has joined the National Coordination on the Evaluation of Refugee Qualifications (CNVQR), an informal network of Italian higher education institutions, activated and operating at national level on the initiative of CIMEA (Centre for Information on Mobility and Academic Equivalences).Study opportunities for refugeesFor further information, please write to: refugees@unipr.it
